It is not illogically organized, just inconsistent. There is no table of context either, so good luck dividing this in a manageable way. Headings are inconsistent to begin with but the Hands & Feet chapter (ch 3) is indistinguishable from the Limbs chapter (ch 2), same with chapter 5 which is largely indistinguishable from chapter 4. If the download site hadn’t specified there were 5 separate chapters, I would never have known. It was consistently confusing and inconsistently organized. For instance, one would reasonably assume that “left anterior and right posterior” (humerus, page 56) would mean the first image was the anterior view of a left humerus and the second was the posterior view of a right humerus. Furthermore, images are grouped together and confusingly labeled. The second image on page 50 looks more like a braid than what I assume to be an interior view of the occipital bone. The hyoid on page 48 is significantly smaller than the vomer on the same page. The sketched images of the skull are barely recognizable (e.g., the lacrimal image page 47 in text) and provide no context, labels, or scale. This (portion of the) text requires updating. Suture closure is no longer standard practice for age estimation (at least in forensic anthropology). A rough glossary is included in each “chapter” but is very brief and scattered throughout the chapter itself.
